In memory of

Merry Chantson

January 13, 1950 -  September 19, 2022

Merry Chantson (née Peacock) passed into Heaven on Monday, September 19, 2022 at the Baycrest Hospital Palliative Care Unit with her husband Dickin and her youngest sister Louise at her side.

The Celebration of Life Service was broadcast live through this website on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. E.S.T. The family thanks all those who attended the service virtually and requests that you please sign the virtual guestbook if you haven't already done so, or let the family know you participated on-line.

The service recording can be viewed from the Video Gallery when you click the Media pull-down menu (top right corner of this page). It will remain available until March 2023. The service itself begins at about the 26 minute mark, and lasts for almost 1 hour until the last guest pays respects.

The family gathered for a private interment service on December 22, 2022 at York Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations made in memory of the late Merry Chantson to the 2 hospitals that provided care and comfort in her final days:
* North York General Hospital - Freeman Centre for Palliative Care, or
* Baycrest Hospital Palliative Care Fund.

Her husband, Dickin, her children, Lynda, Christopher and Deborah, her mother May Chu Peacock, and all of her family, offer heartfelt thanks for the many expressions of sympathy, anonymous donations in her memory, and ongoing prayers.
