A beautiful man, inside and out, who I will always remember with such love and admiration. He always put Vicki and Sheri first, and I felt like his daughter too. He was a selfless man, who would do just about anything for those he cared about. What I’ll miss most is that cheeky smile, with his shrugged up shoulders, that screamed he was up to something as he innocently stated, “What?” Oh, Jaker… the world lost a good one. If only the world had more of you in it… I love you and will miss you dearly. My Dad was a catcher, and you were a great pitcher! Toss the ball around up there and send us some signs down here! We will be watching for them!!! xo.

His smile was contagious as I saw it carry on to your beautiful face every time you were with him Vicki. Hold all those special memories close to your heart. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

It is impossible to put into words how wonderful a man Jake was... he will be deeply missed by all. Especially his daughters that were the brightest light in his life. My heart is heavy for his surviving family, and to them, please find comfort in knowing that he always felt the depth of your love.

So sad to hear of Jake’s passing. He was such a great man. Even when you first met him, it felt like he was a great friend that you had known forever. He would do anything to help you and wanted nothing more than to make sure everyone around him was happy and having a great time. He will certainly be missed but also fondly remembered by those lucky enough to have known him. My sincere condolences to Jake’s family. Rest in peace Jake.
