We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved mother Melita. She passed away peacefully, at her home in Mississauga, joining her husband, Eddie in eternal rest. Predeceased by her sister Mary, and her brothers Joseph, John, and Victor.
Melita was 94 years of age, and lived a full life, surrounded by her children, Marlene (Bob) and Anna (Ralph). She was Nanna to her grandchildren, Robert (Lucy), Amanda (Michael), Steven (Amy) and Lee Ann (Chris), and her great-grandchildren, Emma, Alyssa, Ryan and Ava. Melita was a seamstress in her home country of Malta, she immigrated to Canada with Eddie and their two children in 1964. She worked at Cara Foods and Canada Packers, working hard with her husband to ensure a good life for their family. Melita was a strong woman, with determination and drive. She was the matriarch of our family and she will be dearly missed.

Funeral Mass will be held at Saints Martha and Mary Church:1870 Burnhamthorpe Road East in Mississauga. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery: 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga. A celebration of her life will follow at Capital Banquet Centre: 6435 Dixie Road, in Mississauga.
