Mei Leung

May passed away peacefully at Senior’s Health Centre of North York General Hospital on August 28, 2022 at the age of 97. She leaves behind five children, Stephen, Eva, Eleanor, Lina and Edmond. She was loved by her ten grandchildren, Cindy, Alison, Evelyn, Janice, Wilbert, Wilfred, Jaime, Karen, Vincent, and Victoria and sixteen great grandchildren.

May was born in Canton, China on January 14, 1925. She was the fifth child in a family of six children. She was married to the late Mr. Leung Kwok Ki. Together they built their lives, first in Hong Kong and eventually in Toronto, Canada.

She was a fervent Roman Catholic and followed God’s guidance all her life. She devoted her life to her family. She loved, nurtured and guided her children and was very proud of their professional achievements. She was kind and gentle. She always had a big warm smile on her face. She was always ready to help others who had encountered difficulties in their lives. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren will all miss her wise guidance and delicious cooking.

May she rest in peace and live on forever in our hearts.
