梁伍美杏 Mei Hun Leung
December 23, 1936 - September 4, 2024
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Ada Mei Hun Leung, who died peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones at Sunnybrook Hospital.
Ada was a remarkable person with a rich tapestry of interests and passions. Her hobbies of sewing, knitting, or playing mahjong, she poured her heart into everything she did. Her love for these activities was matched only by her dedication to her family. She found joy in every stitch she made and in every tile she turned, always creating something beautiful and meaningful.
Her grace and vitality were evident not only in her hobbies but also in the way she approached life. Her dancing and tai chi sessions were a testament to her zest for life and her commitment to staying active and engaged. Even as she gracefully aged, she remained a vibrant and dynamic presence, inspiring us all with her strength.
Ada’s legacy is not only in her many accomplishments but also in the love she gave so freely. She cherished her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother, delighting in the joy of watching her family grow. Her stories, her laughter, and her wisdom enriched the lives of all who knew her.
Beloved mother of Constance (Howard),Tom (Karen), Corina and Anita; Treasured Grandmother of Kodi, Krystel, Jack, Carrie, Athena, Austin and Kassidy; Great Grandmother of Spencer, Cooper and Lulu. She was preceded by her husband George. Shiu On Leung in 2018.
A special thank you to Pastor Chan, Pastor Cheung, Pastor Wong, Elaine and her friends of Grace Chinese Gospel Church.
We long to see you again one day, mom, in the house of our Lord!
