Mei Har WONG (nee Seto),

Peacefully at the age of 84, on August 30, 2024, at Sunnybrook Hospital surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Dart Ming Wong. Loving mother of Libby (Raj), Livia (Kevin), and Harvey. Dear grandmother of Andrew. Born in Toisan, Guangdong, China, she built a new life in Canada with her husband, raised her three children and created a loving home.

Visitation will take place on Monday, September 9th, 2024, from 10:00 am-12:00 pm, memorial service from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm, both will be held at the Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Road, located inside Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 416-485-5572.

My deep condolences to all the family. I loved growing up with you as neighbors! Mrs. Wong was very sweet when she had to ‘shush’ our noise a bit (or sometimes correct my behavior - oops!) - and I will always remember her kindness when she found me in frustrated tears up at the schoolyard because I just couldn’t get my kite to fly; she showed me how to pull back gently on the string until I felt a ‘lift’ under it and then gradually release it, repeating until it soared. She was very patient as I clumsily mastered it, and very encouraging! Just one example. My heart is with you all.
