李黃美珍夫人 Mee Chen Lee

January 21, 1937 - April 24, 2022

It is with a deep sadness we share that beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Mee Chen Lee, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 24th, 2022. She was 85 years old.

Loving wife to Wah Kwun for 56 years who was by her side when she left us. Devoted mother of 3 beautiful children: Lisa (Jason); Wendy (Robert); and Johnny (Vanessa). Proud grandmother of Kirsten and Madison; Hannah; and Amanda, Max and Sebastian.

She will be remembered by her tenacity, strong work ethic and most of all, her love for her family. This is reflected in her 3 children, especially in the devotion and selflessness that Wendy showed in caring for her at the hospital during her many years of illness.

The simplest things brought her joy - managing her grocery store for over 35 years, dinners with family and enjoying her quiet time either in her favourite chair in the living room or people watching from the front porch.

She will be missed greatly by all. We love you.

Welcomed me (and my family) to her home when visiting from Montreal for the weekend. Got to love the late dinner, because of beloved grocery store that my dear father suggested quite a while ago.
