May Glynne Fulton

It is with sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of May Glynne Fulton (nee Edwards), of 98
years, on October 25 2023 at the North York General Hospital: Seniors' Health Centre. The family is deeply
grateful for the caring and attentive care May received there during her final years of life.
May was predeceased by her husband, William (Bill) Fulton and daughter, Diane Wagner of Don Mills, ON.
She is survived and greatly missed by her son-in-law Gerry Wagner, son David Fulton (and Linda Goggin) of
Elgin, NB and daughters, Christine Hegeman (and Benjamin) of Houghton, NY, and Carolyn (Kerri) Bryan (and
Neil) of Hadashville, Manitoba.
She will also be sadly missed by her nine grandchildren, Elaina (Wagner) Evans and Laura Wagner,
Benjamin Fulton, Tineke (Hegeman) Bryson, Annamieke (Hegeman) Mwizerwa and
Martin Hegeman, Robin Bryan, David Bryan and Raia Bryan as well as 14 great and great, great
grandchildren. She leaves behind for her family a beautiful example of loving acceptance, humility and gentle
kindness.
May was born in Toronto to Sarah and John Edwards on May 21, 1925. She was a lover of birds, beauty, starry
nights, cooking and sharing food with others, and long road trips with her late husband, Bill.
May and Bill met at Ontario Pioneer Camp and together they served for many years with IVCF, working with high
school and university students in Alberta and Ontario. They first attended High Park Baptist Church and later,
Donway Baptist Church in Don Mills, where May sang in the choir and helped lead worship in song. She had a
beautiful soprano voice.
There will be an opportunity for remembrance and visitation with the family between 1-3pm on Sunday,
November 5th at Donway Baptist Church, 235 The Donway E, Don Mills, ON.
A family graveside service will be held on Monday, November 6, at ELGIN MILLS CEMETERY, Area 14,
Plot #3080 (1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill, 905-579-6787) at 10:30 am.
