Max Ishida

February 11, 2008 -  August 25, 2023

In Loving Memory of Max Ishida, 2008-2023. It is with profound sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Max Ishida, who left us tragically on August 25, 2023, in a devastating accident.
Born on February 11, 2008, Max was the beloved son of Naoko Ishida and Eugene Vinogradov, and a caring brother to Nicholas Ishida. Known for his love of music, Max showcased a mastery of the violin and saxophone rarely seen at his age and played the violin with pride and passion in one of the Royal Conservatory Orchestras. Max also was part of UCC Jazz Band, Symphonic Band and UCC Ensemble.
Max had an uncanny ability to see the hidden beauty in everything and yearned to share it with the world. Through his paintings, intricate in detail yet seemingly crafted with effortless ease, spanning styles from classical to impressionist to abstractionist, he demonstrated an astounding mastery of the art. This deep artistic vision also led him to delve into the world of photography. His breathtakingly beautiful photographs and videos captured the essence of landscapes and cities, revealing their inner beauty in a manner only he could envisage. Max was part of the UCC College Film club.

His bashful smile, boundless enthusiasm, and unwavering kindness will be remembered by all. Max is survived by his inconsolable parents Naoko and Eugene and brother Nicholas, by grieving grandparents Elena, Irina, Fumiko and uncles Serge and Alexander, and a multitude of cousins and friends. Each of them mourns the untimely loss and will forever cherish the moments spent and the memories created with Max .
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support they've received during this incredibly difficult time.
May Max's spirit live on in the countless hearts he's touched.

Max was always such a pleasure to see during College Film club meetings and around the halls. He would enter the room full of positive energy and a lovely willingness to learn. His passion and pure love for film inspired me and those around him to pick up their cameras and to make beautiful works of art. I am both shocked and filled with sadness to hear of his passing, and am sending my condolences to his family.

My heart is broken and I can't even imagine your intense pain in this loss. Cling to those positive times, smell his clothes, listen to his music - let him live on so his memory isn't forgotten. So sorry that this happened to your family. Thoughts are also with his friends that are facing this reality.
