So saddened by this news!
I read an email today sent to me from Janice.
I met this beautiful woman and Nelse in 1996 when they were vacationing in my hometown of New Orleans and the 3 of us connected instantly. We saw each other that one time, but remained friends for 27 years. Maureen and I shared so much of our lives with each other. We were there for each other as we went through the same heartache and pain of losing our loved ones. She was always so comforting and got me through some really sad times. I shall miss my friend dearly.
Rest in God's loving arms, Maureen. I'll never forget you 🙏❤

My heart is broken into pieces as I learned from Janice that Nelse passed away, too.
I shall wish him a heavenly happy birthday every November 1st. We share the same birthday month.
Rest in peace, Nelse. You were a wonderment!!
