In memory of

Maureen Wai

February 27, 1949 -  March 30, 2025

We are saddened to announce the passing of Maureen Wai on March 30, 2025 at her home after suffering complications from a silent heart attack.

Maureen was a dedicated daughter and sister to her parents and brother, mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren and aunt to us all.

Maureen is survived by her mom Constance; loving husband Winston; her sons, daughter-in-laws and grandchildren, Wilson (Annie, Andric, Avina), Wilfred (Vincci); and her brother Gay Mok (Barbara).

Maureen loved to travel with her family and friends, and shopping was always on her mind wherever she was. Many of us were recipients of her smile and gifts over the years.

Maureen had a deep love and care for the animals and plants around her. She found joy in blooming flowers, especially pink orchids, and her home was always filled with fresh flowers and sunshine. Her love for her dog Latte was deep, as she would always treat her with tenderness and care on top of many treats.

We would like to extend our appreciation to all the paramedics who tried their utmost to achieve a different outcome.

Please take a moment to share a memory or offer a condolence on the virtual guestbook.

Dearest Maureen,

I still cannot believe that you are gone. We have been much closer since we migrated to Canada. I vividly remember that you happily informed me early March that you have decided last minute to go on a cruise trip with son & family. You always love going places with them. You will be dearly missed. May you have eternal rest in heaven,

With love
Janet
