In memory of

Maureen A. Jenkins

April 20, 1931 -  August 4, 2017

With great sadness on Friday, August 4th in hospital, peaceful passing at age 86. Loving wife of Henry Jenkins for 67 years. Cherished mother of Barry (Gloria), Wendy (Dave) and Gail (Tony). Dearly missed by grandchildren Kerry, Amy, Alexander, Andrew, Christopher, Caitlin and great grandchildren Henry and Otis. Her greatest joys were time spent with family and friends. The family will receive friends at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Avenue East, 416-267-8229) on Saturday, August 12th from 2 – 6 pm. We will celebrate Maureen’s life at Leaside United Church, 822 Millwood Road, on Friday, August 18th at 2:00 pm followed by a reception at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to an ever loving grandmother who never failed to show her generosity and support for all of my life achievements. Although she was never the loudest in a room, her presence was always deeply felt. Grandma, I will miss you tremendously but will take the values and lessons you taught as I raise my own children, your great grandchildren. I will always cherish the memories I have of our times together. One of my deepest regrets is not showing you enough appreciation however I am so grateful that I got to call you my Grandma.

All my love,
Kerry (Nick, Henry and Otis) xxx

So sorry for your loss. My mother passed August 2nd and I would like to think that she was waiting there with the rest of the family to greet her.
