After a brief illness, Matthias passed away peacefully on June 26, 2017 at the age of 88. Loving brother of Joseph, and Maria (Josef). Much Loved uncle of JoAnne (Robert), Christine (Daniel), Benno (Yvonne), and Ewald (Ina). Matthias will be missed by many great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends and family will be received for a Memorial Reception at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229), on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 2 - 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Ontario Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
