It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Chan-Ngai, who peacefully left us on Thursday, March 26 at the age of 65.
Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and the heartbeat of our family. She lived a life marked by selfless love, unwavering devotion, generosity and a nurturing yet youthful spirit. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, creating lasting memories and finding happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She always made everyone around her feel welcome, caring for others with warmth, kindness and exceptional thoughtfulness.
Throughout her courageous battle with cancer, Mary remained positive and strong, inspiring everyone around her with her resilience and grace. Her determination and optimism were a beacon of light even in the toughest of times.
Mary is survived by her devoted husband Michael, her beloved children Clifford (Leeann), Enola, Michelle (Jonathan), Kimberly (Michael), her most precious grandchildren Kaedyn, Skylyr, Jacob, Caleb, Emmett, and many extended family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 4 (4:00 PM - 7:30 PM).
A private service will be held on Sunday, April 5.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation (Sarcoma Cancers) in Mary’s honor. Please see the Donation Page or

Taken from us far too soon, Mary will be deeply missed. Her spirit lives on in our hearts through the memories we cherish, and we will think of her often—especially in the small, everyday moments that once filled her with such joy.
