SMITH, M. Jeannette

As Jeannette has often said, she had a wonderful life.

Jeannette Smith, beloved widow of Ashley Smith and loving mother of Wendy Smith, Christine Smith (Alan Plaunt) and Brian Smith (Sonia St-Aubin Smith) passed away in hospital on September 13, 2022.

She was the third child of John H. Boulter and Alberta Boulter (Sewell), and sister of John S. Boulter and Caroline Lange (Boulter).

Jeannette treasured her eight wonderful grandchildren and seven precious great grandchildren.

She called many places home as she was born in Peru, grew up in Toronto and Ottawa, and later raised her family in Oshawa, Ontario.

Jeannette loved to travel and saw many parts of the UK, Europe and North America. She was actively involved in figure skating and was committed to supporting her church.

At Jeannette’s request, her life will be celebrated on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 1 pm at St. George’s Anglican Church, 51 Centre St. S. Oshawa, ON.
