Mary and I first connected in the midst of a pandemic, and over the years, our shared journey blossomed into a deep and meaningful friendship. I am profoundly grateful for the chance to have known Mary. She was a remarkable woman—a strong spirit firmly rooted in her faith and an unwavering love for her family.

Mary lived a life of extraordinary richness and depth, filled with experiences that spanned continents and eras. She shared captivating stories of her childhood in Poland, her time in Siberia, the Middle East, and India, and her eventual years in Canada. These journeys shaped her character and imbued her with a profound wisdom she carried throughout her life.

Mary was a true force of strength—a woman whose indomitable spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Her sharp sense of humor, resilient demeanor, and remarkable ability to find meaning and recover even in the face of challenges were nothing short of inspiring. She faced trials with unwavering determination and an internal strength that was incredible to witness.

Above all, Mary’s heart was devoted to her family. She spoke of them with pride, and her prayers were a constant source of love and hope for their well-being—past, present, and future.
