It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Kwan beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Mary passed away peacefully on September 9th surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 88 years old.

Born on July 27, 1936, Mary lived her life with strength, grace, and an unwavering love for her family. She was a devoted mother to her five children, Victor, Peggy, Shirley, Dolly and Jimmy and a cherished grandmother to Rachel, Victor Jr, Jason, Chris, Timothy, Mathew, Benjamin, Zakariya, Raphael, Joshua, Adam, and Quinn. Her family was the center of her world, and she took great pride in watching her children and grandchildren grow, supporting them through every challenge and celebrating every triumph.

Throughout her life, Mary touched the hearts of everyone she met. Her kindness, compassion, and generosity were endless. Even in her illness, she remained a source of strength and inspiration, facing every day with courage and dignity.

In addition to her immediate family, Mary will be deeply missed by her extended family, including her sons-in-law, Marty, Richard, and Ashraf, as well as her daughter-in-law, Patsy. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, ON, beginning at 1:00 pm.
