Auntie Angie will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews in Canada England, Ireland, Illinois, California and New Zealand. The family would like to acknowledge and thank all of mom’s dear friends and the members of the Emerald Isle Senior Centre for all their love and support.

To recognize mom’s love of her Irish heritage, the family would encourage wearing the colour green to the visitation and service.

Angela, I remember visiting you on the three occasions when I was in Toronto. You were such a lady, such a lovely woman. You enjoyed the craic as well. RIP Angela, heaven has gained another angel, sleep tight x

Angie was one of the most beautiful kind hearted women we ever had the pleasure of knowing. We always knew when our kids were in Angie's care they were safe and would be having fun where she always treated them like they were her own kids

Promoted to Heaven another beautiful Angel

Sending sincere condolences to the entire Hughes clan on the loss of your wonderful mother. Angie always had a kind word, the gift for laughter and those Irish eyes always smiled. The minds eye never forgets and I know her memory will go on for many years to come.

How do I as your first born daughter say good-bye or thank you and our wonderful dad who worked so hard to give all your 5 children a great life? I can say it over and over again we are so blessed having the greatest parents in the world, parents who love us all equally and unconditionally. Mom and Dad said it over and over again how proud they are of each of their grandchildren and their accomplishments.

I promised you mom that all your kids, their partners and the grandchildren will stay strong and together for dad, no matter, and we will. The one thing that I know for sure is that no matter what happens in the future I will always have my memories and love in my heart for you.

I know that at the end of your journey you had no more pain and were not suffering and for that I owe the world of gratitude and thanks to the amazing staff at the hospital.

Ma may you rest in peace with your family and until we meet again I will always love you to the moon and back

With love Sheila
