On April 29, 2021, Martin went to his eternal rest at the age of 88. Martin is survived by his common-law spouse Terry, his step-daughter and family, sister-in-law, and his niece and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Jura and Antonia, his first wife Anna, his brothers Lujza and Josip, and his sisters Slava, Anka, and Bara.

His wonderful smile, contagious laughter and sense of humor will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private service for invited family will be held on Friday, May 7, at Pine Hills Cemetery.
