They walk beside us every day

Passed away peacefully at Toronto General Hospital on Friday, September 8, 2017 at the age of 80. Predeceased by parents Harold and Mae, sisters June and Joy, nephew Dan. Survived by nephews and niece Paul (Sharron), Glenn (Gloria) and Dawn (Jeff); great-nephews and nieces Shawn, Brianne, Meagan, Matthew, Cole, Courtnie, Laura, Grant; great-great-nephews and niece Oakley, Caleb and Beth. Sadly missed by all her wonderful cousins and extended family at St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church, Toronto. Long time employee for more than 40 years at Lever Brothers. Marlene will be greatly missed by her family, relatives and friends. A memorial reception will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre (625 Birchmount Rd., north of St. Clair Ave. E., Scarborough, 416-267-8229) on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. A private interment to follow on Friday. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
