In memory of

Mark Christopher Dennis

December 1, 1962 -  February 13, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Dennis - our son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. Mark died on February 13, 2020 at age 57 at the Etobicoke General Hospital.

Mark will be remembered as upbeat, funny, smart and easy to talk to, with a very big heart.
His passion for golf, knowledge of a vast array of subjects and outgoing nature earned him many friends throughout the years.
He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A private burial for the family will be followed by a memorial service for friends and family.
The service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery Funeral Centre in the reception room on Saturday February 22, 2020 from 1-4.
Words of remembrance will begin at 1:30.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the family’s chosen charity: The Kidney Foundation of Canada.

Mark has been a great friend for almost two decades. From working with him to golfing with him to bring a friend...he is being remembered through the amazing times we shared.

He was a great manager to many, a great friend to everyone he came in touch with and had a big heart.

Over the recent years he has mentored me while playing golf together, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

I pray to our Lord he comfort those who are in sorrow but to comfort us with the knowledge that he now rests in peace in God’s loving arms.

Mark even though I was a year older you were the big brother I never had. You introduced me to so many experiences from driving for Pizza Pizza , video games, music I had never heard of. You also stood at my side when I got married. I never thought I’d be writing these words so soon. You’ll never know how many lives you touch and you touched many. I’m going to miss your wit, humour and friendship. Rest well my friend.

Mark I am going to miss you. You always had a smile, a joke and something sweet for me when I saw you either in the hallways or at your desk. You knew my sweet tooth well. I loved how you lightened the mood and loved to make everyone guess at a joke or gave me an interesting tidbit of information to learn from. Hoping to meet you somewhere up there in the next stage of our spiritual selves. Wishing you the best journey my friend.
