Hunt, Marion Ruth (nee Paisley)
Passed away at Taunton Mills Retirement Home in Whitby on December 30, 2018, at the age of 96. Predeceased by her loving husband Tom (2004). Marion and Tom enjoyed 61 years together. Marion will be sadly missed by her children Steve (Helen), Bruce (Shelley), Doug (Chantal), and Gary (Shelley). Proud gramma of Laura, Lindsay, Kailey, Quenton, Taylor, Kristen, Denise and Austin. Survived by her sister, Jessie Skidmore of Trenton, Ontario and by her brother, Bill Paisley of Toronto. Marion will be also missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was a long time resident of “The Beach” and Scarborough. Marion was a beautiful person, both inside and out, would sacrifice anything for the happiness of her family and friends. She will be remembered for her tolerance for raising four boys. She got the most of life’s experiences within her large circle of loyal friends. At her request, cremation has taken place. As per the wishes of her family, no formal funeral will occur. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the caring and compassionate nursing staff at Taunton Mills for the professionalism shown to Marion and her family.
