With sad hearts we share the passing of Marion Free (nee Brown). Born September 22, 1933 in Toronto and raised in the beach neighbourhod (she was fond of telling us stories of her childhood fun down by the lake!). Ever loving and endlessly patient mother of Peter (Sophie), Rebecca (Andrew), Daniel (Nicole), Jennifer, and dear Noreen. Proud and caring grandmother of Maegan (Marian), Owen, Kayla, Nathan, Douglas, Joseph, Lance (Amy). And doting great-grandmother to Isobel, wee Ian, and Celeste. Marion was a much loved Aunt to many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was an admired friend and colleague.
Marion is pre deceased by her husband Douglas Free, siblings Ian (Carol), Ron (June), Catherine (Bill), and baby Margaret.
Marion was a light to all and the epitome of beauty on the inside and out. She encouraged love, kindness, and acceptance of all and endured life with grace and dignity.
May you have eternal peace and rest. We will hold you with us in our hearts always and forever.
