It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Marilyn Annette McEwen in her 83rd year. She passed away peacefully at the Davis Centre in Bolton, Ontario on March 11, 2023. Marilyn was a loving mother, aunt, sister and grandmother and will be deeply missed.

Marilyn leaves behind four children: Tim (Tara), Darren (Lori), Troy (Tricia) and Sherry (Nathan). A proud Grandma to seven grandchildren: Adam, Ryan, Stephanie, Jenna, Alyssa, Rachel and Madison.

Marilyn was born in Grimsby, ON to Orris Lorne Jacobs and Violet Belle Dawdy (Walter Stanley Hudson) on the family farm and was the second oldest of five children (Delores, Marilyn, Shirley, Richard and Bobby). She was predeceased by Delores and Richard. She will be remembered for the love she shared for her cats and dogs, her craftiness and for the many beautiful handmade gifts that she bestowed on her family.

Marilyn's family would like to thank the staff at the Davis Centre for their kind and compassionate care of their mom.
