In memory of

Marilyn MacAskill

December 10, 1932 -  November 16, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Marilyn MacAskill announces her passing on Tuesday November 16 2021 at the age of 88. She will be missed and remembered fondly by her daughters Yvonne (Bonnie) and Candice, son James, son-in-law Mike, granddaughters Sara and Kaydence, grandsons Michael and Lincoln, sisters Shirley and Aretta. She was predeceased by husband James, daughter Mickey, granddaughter Tara, parents Claude and Sarah and her 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Marilyn was a strong willed and tenacious woman who enjoyed knitting, reading, shopping, travel and warm weather. For many years she took great pride in being a avid member and volunteer in her local legion.

Her family and friends will carry their memories of her close to their hearts. We know she is at peace now and it is the job of her loved ones to let go, live life to the fullest and keep her legacy alive as she would have wanted.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Lung Foundation would be greatly appreciated
