In memory of

Marilyn Hauk

June 23, 1933 -  November 16, 2024

HAUK, Marilyn Yvonne (Moon) died in Toronto at the age of 91. She is survived and immensely missed by her husband Arnhold who feels blessed and privileged to be her admirer. She was Arnhold’s precious life companion and best friend for 65 years. Also, she is survived by her 2 precious sons Brian Gregory (Sedi) and Roger Ian (Sharon) who she treasured as “special blessed lifetime privileges”. Always she was proud of her family and of being a grandmother of Jennifer and Robert (Jordan) and baby great grandson Cayden whose photo she saw again in her last days, then whispered “I wish he will achieve greatness in his life”.

Marilyn accomplished a lot in her life – with several accolades in classical music, fashion design, art and photography. What stands out is that she tried to make a difference in the world – she was guided by empathy, compassion and trying to understand others and their feelings.

Sedi Minachi (daughter in law)

Entered November 27, 2024 from Burnaby

Our beloved mother (in law), Marilyn Hauk (Moon) tragically passed away on Nov 16, 2024. She was a passionate musician, photographer, mom and much more who is greatly missed by her son, Brian Hauk and I, and will always be in our memories. Six beautiful large pictures she gifted us while visiting Vancouver in 200/ remind us of her beautiful smile, high spirits and impressive accomplishments.

Nancy Hill (Neighbour)

Entered November 28, 2024 from 18 Eastview Cres

Marilyn and I spent many happy hours together walking the neighbourhood. She always had her camera at the ready to record the flora and fauna which she later, using her creativity and Lightroom, transformed into the most beautiful, unique pieces of art. I had the privilege of seeing many of these pieces hanging in her home along with her treasured photos of her family.

Marjorie Bowman (Friend of long standing)

Entered November 29, 2024 from 111 Avenue Rd. #822

She was a great member of our art appreciation group and an excellent hostess.
