Surrounded by her loving family; Marie passed away in her 80th year at Sunnybrook Hospital on Wednesday November 23, 2022.

Loving mother to Sandra Power and proud grandmother to Michael and James Power.

Marie is reunited with her parents Florence and Gordon Hillyard.

She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Allen Hillyard (Anne), Ronnie Hillyard (Cathy), Diane La Pointe (Gabe), Deborah Atkinson-Summerfield and Raymond Hillyard (Denise).

Visitation will be held on Saturday December 3 from 1-2pm until the Celebration of Life Service at 2pm at the Simple Alternative Funeral Centre (1535 South Gateway Rd, Mississauga Ont. L4W 5J1 (905) 602 1580).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation can be made in memory of Marie.
