Marie (Inata) Nagami
Born in Shawnagan Lake, BC
August 28, 1924 – September 6, 2021

Marie passed away peacefully at Lakeside Long Term Care Home soon after her 97th birthday. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Seiki (February 10, 1917 – June 11, 1992). Marie was one of five siblings – Minoru and his wife (both deceased); May Matsumoto and husband, Ritsu (both deceased); George (deceased) and wife, Jackie; Amie Shinmoto and husband, Mike (deceased). Survived by her two sons, Gord and his wife, Marion; and Dave and his wife, Mary. Marie has five grandchildren, Brett Nagami and partner, Samantha; David Nagami and partner, Alex; Elise O’Henly and husband, Chris; Daniel Nagami, and Devin Nagami.

Marie will be cremated. Due to the current COVID Delta Variant outbreak, there will be no memorial service held at this time. At a future date, she will be interned with her husband at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
