I first met Edith when I joined the Willowdale Group of Artists about five years ago. I knew nobody at the first meeting but a kind person with a big smile greeted me and made me feel at home. That was Edith. She was involved and helpful and a pleasure to know.

Edith was an active member of The Willowdale Group of Artists and the Toronto Watercolour Society.
I worked with Edith at the Willowdale Edithvale Workshop, where she was Treasurer for several years, We had lots of fun times organizing workshops together. Her beautiful singing voice and sense of humour added to our enjoyment at the End of Year Party.

Edith was a willing volunteer and won the Volunteer of the Year Award at Toronto Watercolour Society. She was one of the several members who volunteered their services as photographers for the group.

She was an accomplished Artist having won several awards for her beautiful floral pieces which she loved to paint.

Edith, I will miss your happy disposition and your sense of humour. Rest in Peace my friend.

Heartfelt sympathy to her husband George, daughter Anna and the Family.
