Marie Jeannette Huska (Arsenault)
passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Friday November 24, 2017. Marie known to most as “Bert” was in her 85th year. Daughter of Lawrence and Julie (née Babineau) Arsenault. Bert was the beloved wife of Walter (deceased), the loving mother of Terry, Debbie, Bill (deceased) and Mark. Mother-in-law to Irene, Dave (Debbie’s partner-deceased) Martha and Jane. Grandmother to Lyle, Lisa, Stephanie, Adam, Natalie and Mathew. Sister to Leo (deceased), Yvonne (deceased), Jerry (deceased), Janet, Raymond, Freddy (deceased),, Velma and Ella (deceased). Sister-in-law to Noreen, (deceased, Roland (deceased), Ted (deceased), Ozzie, Angie, Marge, Raymond, Ron, Ralph (deceased), Richard (deceased), Natalie (deceased), Vera, Ted (deceased), Ruth (deceased), Peter, Elizabeth, Peter (deceased), Rebecca, Ron (deceased) and 31 nieces and nephews and their children and their children’s children. Marie 'Bert' will be deeply missed by her best friend and companion Noni Cain. Although Marie (Bert) was baptized a Roman Catholic at birth she studied the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses and regularly attended the yearly Memorial of Jesus Christ’s Death until her health no longer permitted. As with her husband Walter and her children, Bert believed wholeheartedly in the “Resurrection “ of both the “righteous” and the “un-righteous” to eternal life in paradise on earth and that she is only temporarily asleep in death.
