I'm happy that you lived a long and healthy life and were able to live in your home for most of it. I am so fortunate to have had the most wonderful, loving mother that anyone could have. You are in my thoughts everyday thinking of you baking apple strudel and listening to soap operas on the radio . Your christmas cookies were everyone's favourite, especially the jam filled ones. Thankyou mom, I'll miss you.
It was an honour caring for you and spending time with you these last few years.
Watching you spend hours in the garden over the years and seeing what a green thumb you had was truly impressive and has inspired my love of gardening today.
I remember hopping on the subway to meet you for lunch many times when you worked at Eaton’s all those years ago. That must be where you adopted your chic fashion sense.
Rest well Mom
you have a crew waiting for you…Dad, Dorothy, Mark and Julius
I will never forget how caring my Nana was. Every time her children or grandchilden visited, we would feel the unconditional love that she would always display. It is very painful to lose her, but it is even harder to accept. I am so thankful to have had my Nana in my life for so long, I think that's a lesson I've learned from her in fact.
Anybody who was blessed to have had called her a friend was given such a priceless gift. I know there are moments where I'll see her in others, and that undoubtedly will always be a good moment.
Thank you for everything Nana. Love you.
Thank you Eve for letting me know of her passing. I will say she was the greatest mother in law any one could of had. I hope she passed peacefully and I will never forget her.
Our Nana was the epitome of kindness, resilience, and love. She taught me that a person can embody both gentleness and strength. I'll always remember her storytelling and arm scratches. Even towards the end of her life, Nana was always kind to the amazing nurses and volunteers at the Peterborough Hospice who cared for her. I'll miss her always.
