July 17, 1946 - January 20, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce Marie’s passing at Crown Ridge Place on Friday, January 20, 2023 at the age of 76. She joins her beloved parents Douglas and Lillian. Marie will be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters-in-law; Clayton, Elmo (Gaye), Wilfred, Kevin (Charlene) and Eric (Janice). She was the cherished aunt of Michael, Cecile, Kelly, Ken, Daniel, Samantha, Lindsey and Holly. She will also be dearly missed by many great nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her brother Walter and sister-in-law Gail. All are welcome at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Thursday, January 26th at 1 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Canadian Mental Health Association (CAMH).

I can't remember when I first met Marie, probably at a wedding shower. I will say it has been at least 40-50 years. Marie was a very quiet person and kept to herself, but when you had a chance to sit and talk with her, she opened up and good be very funny.

Rest in Peace Marie. You are with your Mom and Dad, your brother and family members.
