In memory of

Marianna Kalintsis

November 12, 1962 -  December 20, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marianna Kalintsis on Sunday December 20, 2020 at the age of 58 with her family by her side. Marianna, a kindred spirit, will be lovingly remembered by her mother Fani, sisters Eleni and Theodora, brother Christos and her beloved dog Mitzy. She will be greatly missed by her nephews, niece, extended family, friends and all who shared in the memories of her life's journey. Marianna was predeceased by her father Pantelis Kalintsis.
A new journey for Marianna begins - one that is an end to sadness, sorrow and suffering. We honour her memory by being reminded of the love, joy and compassion that is part of our existence when we allow our soul to be ignited by the bright light of our true essence, no matter how great the pain. A private service for immediate family only will be held followed by interment. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the ICU nurses, doctors and staff at the North York General Hospital for their phenomenal care and compassion towards Marianna as she fought her last valiant fight to the end.
Marianna, may you rest your sweet soul in peace, forever more.

To my dear sister Marianna,
Words are not easy at this time..it is so hard to say good-bye with such finality.
Yet I watched you take your final breath on this plane of life, not sure what lies beyond.
With certainty, I am grieving your loss, of your constant pain, of the life of joy and abundant love you should have felt.
But I am celebrating you - your essence. The you that was always there. The smiling, loving, child-like playful you!
Sweet sister, may you be surrounded by God's pure love,
With soothing sounds of beautiful music,
Dancing with the butterflies in meadows of wild-flowers and find eternal comfort in the arms of Heaven's angels.
May your soul find peace at long last.
With love forever,
Eleni

Dear Kalintsis Family, please accept my sincerest condolences. I have such fond childhood memories of Marianna. She had one great sense of humour and would always make me laugh. I remember playing indoor hockey in our basement - geez was she ever competitive. Village picnics over the summers were such a joy as she’d pretend to drive us around the park with the radio on. She knew every word to every song. My gosh, she had the voice of an angel! Mary was selfless. As a child, she saved me from the unthinkable and for this I am truly grateful. May she Rest In Peace as she finds her way to Paradise, where there is no pain or suffering. God bless πŸ™πŸ»
