Marian Wierbol passed peacefully on October 14, 2022 at the age of 96.
Survived by beloved wife Kirsti (93), father of Susan and grandfather of Nikolas and Stephanie.

Marian was a very proud man: a survivor of a Siberian prison camp, and WWII veteran of the Polish army who found the love of his life, Kirsti in post-war London England. They married in 1951 and came to Canada in 1954 with one suitcase and the dream of a good life. Marian was a man of integrity, and a strong work ethic. They both worked very hard and achieved their dreams. Success that brought a good home, solid family and lifelong friendships.

Marian was an excellent host and loved a good party, loved music and loved to serenade with his Russian folks songs in that deep baritone voice! He loved the outdoors and eventually was able to build his dream home in Caledon...with his own forest for a backyard. A dog lover...he cherished Misha 'the bear.' Men like Marian are few and far between now, and he will be greatly missed.
