Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at The Scarborough Hospital- General Campus on November 07, 2016 at the age of 76. Maria was predeceased by her loving husband Steve Vlahos (1992). Loving mom of Nick, Ana (Steve), Tom (Nancy). Devoted Yaya of Steven, Mathew, Brianna, Maritsa, Cailey, Cole and Michael. Cherished sister of Peter (deceased), Telly (deceased), John (deceased), Paul, Taky, and Harry. Maria will be fondly remember by her extended family and friends. Family and friends can be received at Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, on Thursday November 10, 2016 from 2- 4 p.m. and 7-9p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday November 11, 2016 at St. John's Greek Orthodox Church, 1385 Warden Avenue at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
