Maria Rizzuti passed away at Hillsdale Terrace, Sunday February 3, 2019 at the age of 94 years. Leaving behind 3 daughters Giovanna, Bianca Rosa and Franca and 5 grandchildren, Mikhail, Daniel, David, Massimo and Laura.
Maria immigrated to Canada in 1953, married in 1958, worked as a machine operator for many years, purchased her first home in Toronto and raised her 3 daughters with her late husband Gaspare Rizzuti of 47 years. After 24 years moved to Scarborough where she resided over 30 years and later moved to Hillsdale Terrace in Oshawa, where she was close to her daughter Bianca and lived her last few years happily. Maria had 7 siblings with 3 remaining.
The Good Lord has taken her under his wings. Although we cannot see her, she will always be by our side and in our thoughts. One day the Lord will call us all where we will meet again. For now, we say Good bye until we meet again.
