It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Maria Martins, aged 97 years.

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Maria was her happiest surrounded by her family, especially her two sons who were her everything. All she wanted in life was for her loved ones to be happy and healthy.

Though Maria faced many challenges in her life, with her strong will and determination and her unwavering faith in God she always managed to the see the bright side of life and to make the best of things.

Maria now rests, awaiting the day she will be reunited with her loved ones in God's Kingdom.
