Maria Luisa Cordeiro Botelho

May 21, 1931 - March 26, 2022

Maria Luisa passed away peacefully on March 26, 2022 and has now reunited with her beloved Botelho. Maria Luisa came to Canada in 1974 from Sao Miguel, Portugal and worked as a jewelry producer for many years until her retirement. Her summers were always spent at her trailer in Muskoka, creating wonderful memories with her family and friends. She took great pride in her incredible cooking and her strong sense of fashion. Luisa lived a long, full and happy life to the age of 90. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Maria (Nelinha), her grandchildren Carla and Wallen, Carla's husband Chris and her great-grandkids Ethan, Avery and Lucas. Rest in Peace Avó.

We all knew that this day would be coming, for those who care and love you can't ever be prepare to say good bye so I won't, but I will say bye for now until we meet again so we can rejoice and celebrate happiness again. Thank you for naming me when I was born, and being my Godmother your spirit and love will always be in my heart. You leave me with great memories in witch will help heal my sorrow heart.
