After a tough battle with cancer, Mary passed away at home on Sunday, March 28, 2021 with family by her side. Beloved wife of Mike for almost 47 years. Loving mother of Johanna (Dean) and Carrie (Kyle). Daughter of Henriette Hendriks and sister to Henry (Kathryn). Adored grandmother to Ailissa and Calum. Mary is predeceased by her father John and granddaughter Meaghan. Mary will be remembered by all of her friends and family in Canada and the Netherlands. The family would like to thank Mary's personal care workers, Amlest and Josephine, for all their kindness and compassion. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Foundation and SickKids Foundation. A celebration of life will take place this summer pending COVID restrictions.
