The children of Maria are saddened to announce the passing of their beautiful mother Maria Christina Burcombe (formerly Dyke, nee Gilewicz).

Born March 21, 1945 - Died March 3, 2022.

Maria died suddenly on March 3rd, 2022, in her 77th year.

Maria is survived by her daughter Susannah Dyke (William) Newman from her first marriage, and her son Robert Burcombe (Stacey Laing) from her second marriage. Grand children Micheal and Richard; Liam and Braedon; Courtney and Jack, and her younger sister Victoria (Carlos) Orellano.

Maria is pre-deceased by her parents Mary “May” and Jerzy “George” Gilewicz, and her brother Richard.

As Maria wished, there will be no viewing or service, but a private gathering for the immediate family at the gravesite.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association in Maria’s memory.
