It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Maria Avarino. Maria was always so full of life and was always ready to welcome others into her heart and into her home. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and a caring sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She was survived by her loving husband, Corrado; her children, John (Lesa), Joe (Rose), and Teresa; her grandchildren, Johnathan (Ashley), Steven, Jessica, Ashley, Elizabeth, Amelie, and Vivienne; great grandchild, Lily; and her beloved sister, Lucia. She will be greatly missed by everyone. Visitation will be held at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Monday February 17, 2020 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm. Prayer Service at 7pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday February 18, 2020 at 10am at St. Brigid's Catholic Church, 300 Wolverleigh Blvd, Toronto , ON. Entombment to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
