I was sorry to hear of Margaret's death. She was a fascinating person, so full of life
and adventure when we knew her. We will miss her. Ruth
Aunt Margaret will be sorely missed. Remembering her great tailoring abilities when she used to sew me my party dresses when I was 3, 4, 5 years old for weddings and special events and taking me out for Congee Queen in her later life and talk about events. Peace be with you Auntie Margaret and say “hello” to Unc Richard up there.
Love, Debbie
My deepest sympathy to the Young family. I went through school with Robert. My brother, Vince Thomson, was a good friend of and played basket-ball with Art.
I see from her picture that Margaret is as beautiful as ever. Vince used to tease her unmercifully and always called her Mags. Margaret also knew Vince's wife, Eileen Sullivan, from Noranda. Eileen & Vince both passed away.
I also remember going on a date with Erle, many, many years ago. I think of the many good times we had at the restaurant. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Rest in Peace, Mags....Vince & Sylvia
Aunt Margaret was one of the Ambassadors of the Young family who welcomed us with open hearts when my family immigranted to Toronto in the 80s. We will never forgot how she helped us get settled into our new home and helped our parents with learning English. She will be dearly missed!
My sincerest condolence to the Young family.
