In memory of

Margaret Marion Rayner

February 24, 1935 -  May 26, 2023

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Margaret on May 27, 2023 at the age of 88. She will forever be missed by her loving husband Bruce, married for 63 years. Cherished by her dear children Alan (Elke) and Brian (Anna). An incredibly proud Nanna to Allison, her granddaughter.

Predeceased by both her parents Emerson and Margaret, and to her two older sisters, Bernice and Lorraine. She will forever be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many close friends.

Margaret also known as Marg, was an exceptional wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She cared deeply for both her family and friends.

Margaret was an elementary school teacher in Toronto, and made an impact on countless young students. She was devoted to her students, and touched many lives in her career as an educator. Margaret loved to travel, taking advantage of every travel opportunity. Up until a couple years ago, every single summer Margaret would spend time at her cottage in Huntsville, going up north almost every weekend with her husband. She loved to spend time with her family there.

We miss you deeply, and love you always.
May she Rest in Peace.

“They that love beyond the world cannot be separated by it.
Death cannot kill what never dies.”

Uncle Bruce, Alan, Brian, Anna and family,

We are sorry to hear of Aunt Marg's passing. Thinking of you and sending big hugs your way. Here is a poem that helped me when Mom, Dad and Nancy passed away...we hope it helps you as well. Xo

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
