In memory of

Margaret Mary Osborne

November 15, 1946 -  October 10, 2020

Margaret Mary Osborne (1946-2020), daughter of the late Jack and Peggy Smith, and sister of the late Nancy (Jim), passed away peacefully at home on October 10th, 2020 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She will be sadly missed by her beloved spouse of 42 years, Philip Roach, her cherished children Corey (Pam), Jennifer (Jeff), Christopher (Angie), her niece Cathie (Pino), nephew Greg (Stacey) and her many Grand and Great Grandchildren, Kaleb (Cassie), Madison, Samantha, Danica, Aemilia, Thaeo and Huxley. She will also be remembered fondly by her amazing circle of friends and family that have been so supportive.

Margaret was born and raised in Toronto and had a long career in the banking industry (35+ years with Scotiabank). She began as a teller and rose through the ranks to become a Branch Manager at one of the larger branches in Toronto (Cloverdale Mall). She brought optimism and positivity to everyone she touched and befriended almost everyone she met.

She will be remembered by all as an amazing Spouse, Mom, Nana, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, Friend and mentor and touched so many lives.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to the palliative care team from Credit Valley Hospital and especially the nurses and PSW’s who gave such great care to Marg.

Due to the restrictions of Covid 19, we will be postponing any services at the current time but will plan for a Celebration of Life at a later date to be determined.
