MARGARET KOWALSKYJ

The family is very saddened to announce the passing of Margaret who died peacefully in her sleep on October 18, 2023.
Margaret was born in Huddersfield, Yorkshire England in 1933 to her parents Fred and Hannah Goldthorpe.
She was the Sister to Joan who resides on the Isle of Wight in England.
Margaret met and married her husband John (d. 1986) in England and there they welcomed their first Daughter Susan in 1953.
After immigrating to Toronto Canada in 1957, their second Daughter Marusia was born in 1960 followed by Peter in 1963.
Margaret was the beloved Grandmother to Jacob, Eric, Natasha and Nicholas.
She is also remembered by Susan's partner Dave and Peter's Wife Alicia.
She spent many years travelling and cruising the Caribbean with her good friend Joyce, playing cards with friends and annually visiting Florida to watch the Blue Jays with Susan.
In retirement, she loved running the casino bus to Rama from Henley Gardens.
Margaret resided at Retirement Suites by the Lake where she enjoyed bingo and socializing with the residents and staff.
She will be missed by her family and all the people she has met over her long life.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
