Jean Baldey (Margaret Jean Brown) June 18th 1928 to October 26th 2024

It is with great sadness that our family announces the peaceful passing of Jean Baldey (Margaret Jean Brown) on the morning of October 26th, 2024 at the Bay Ridges, Long-term Care, at the age of 96 years. Mom was listening to her favorite Johnny Mathis tunes.

Cherished Mother, Nana, Great Nana, Aunt, and Great Aunt to Christine (Jacob) Chown (Nee, Dale Christine Baldey), Steve (Stacy) Baldey, and Gary (Donna) Baldey, Amanda, Calen (Ashley), Shawn (Ashla), Darius Firoz - Chown, Curtis Baldey, Frederick Chown, Skyler-Lynn, Gwendolyn, also nieces and nephews and their families and friends.

Predeceased by her parents, Wally and Nora Brown, siblings, Bob (Betty) and Betty (Norm), and husband.

Special thanks to the compassionate caregivers at the Bay Ridges, Long-term Care.

Mom (Jean) was an avid bridge player, loved bowling in her younger years, loved to swim held a certificate as a Certified Swim Instructor, experienced downhill skier at Hidden Valley Huntsville well into her 80s, achieved Ski Level 1 Instructor status, long-standing Volunteer in the Day Surgery at Ajax Lakeridge Health Centre.
Miss you Mom! Thank you for the Love and all you have done for us.

When we came out of the home a Rainbow was in the sky.
