Margaret Irene Burley (nee Traill)

August 6, 1943 - March 5, 2025

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 in Scarborough, with her loving family by her side. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Paul Burley. Cherished mother of Bruce (Laura) Burley and Heather (Doug) Whiteside. Treasured grandmother of Cole, Emma, William and John. Margaret was the big sister of Carol (Pierre) Traill, Ruth (Bruce) Thomas and John Traill.

She was a devoted member of the Beach United Church and an active member of the 35th/37th Scouting Group.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough on Monday, March 10, 2025 at 2 p.m. with visitation an hour prior. Burial will follow in Pine Hills Cemetery. Refreshments will be served after the burial at the funeral centre.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations can be made to the Beach United Church and the Alzheimer’s Society.
