With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Margaret on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 in her 64th year. Much loved daughter of Margaretha (Poppy) Bouwman and the late Wil Bouwman. Loving sister to Harry (Mary Rose) and aunt to William and Olivia. Lovingly remembered and missed by her Canadian and Dutch cousins. Margaret’s resilience helped her overcome many challenges to living the independent life that meant so much to her. She enjoyed bicycling with her mother and was recognized for completing several Ride for Heart marathons. She travelled extensively through Europe and lived in the Netherlands for several years. Margaret enjoyed playing the accordion and participated in many church choirs throughout her life. She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E. 416-267-8229), on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. Funeral at 12:30 pm followed by a light reception. Memorial donations if desired to The Salvation Army.
