In memory of

Margaret Alice Parker

September 19, 1923 -  December 17, 2020

Margaret completed her long earthly journey which was filled with much joy and sorrow on December, 17, 2020.

Beloved wife of Gordon W Parker for 64 years until his passing in 2013. Predeceased by her eldest son Stephen Michael in 1957, sister Maryrae Malone in 2020, daughters-in-law Stella and Arlene, granddaughter Sarah and nephew Philip Parker (in the New York Twin Towers disaster).

Dear mother of Christopher (late Arlene) of Oakville, Randolph (Nicola) of Mississauga, Alan (Valerie) of Scarborough, Rosemary (Kelly) of Windsor, and Ralph (late Stella) of Dundas.

Will be missed and fondly remembered by: god-daughter Linda Furuya of Oshawa; niece Leslie Bennison (Bill) of Georgia; Joan Parker (Phil's widow); nephews Craig Malone and Keith (Jennifer) Malone and her many grandchildren, great nieces and her great grandchild.

Margaret had a good sense of humour and was a happy person. She was a graduate of the University of Toronto, in 1946, worked at Toronto General Hospital and was an owner of a convenience store (Bonny Lynn’s) until finally retiring when she was 75 (and went on a cross Canada camping trip). Margaret volunteered for the IODE, post retirement, and supported many charities. She and her husband were active members of St. Brice's Anglican church in North Bay for over 50 years.

Cremation has occurred and a private celebration of life will happen at a later date.

Mortal life ends but memories and love linger.

Please feel free to donate to a charity of your choice; amongst Mom’s favorites were the Salvation Army, and Covenant House.
