Margaret Afua “SiƐbƐ” Aforo

Born: March 22, 1960 in Koforidua Eastern Region of Ghana
Died: June 20, 2023 in Brampton, Ontario, Canada

Our beloved Margaret Afua "SiƐbƐ" Aforo, born on March 22, 1960 in Koforidua, Ghana, transitioned into heaven on Tuesday June 20th, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Margaret lived a fulfilling life as a mother, wife, sister, grandmother and a friend. She will be greatly missed for her smile, sense of humor and her ability to compassionately care for others. As a natural born caregiver, she pursued a career as a registered nurse at the Koforidua Central Hospital in Ghana. Some few years later, she moved to Canada on November 11, 1989. She worked as a personal support worker and even owned a beauty hair supply business. Before God’s call for home, Margaret was a co-owner and manager of a successful pharmacy business in Ghana.

Her hobbies and interests included spending time with her family, gardening, sewing, reading and singing. She devoted her time and energy as a caregiver to family members and friends.
She was a woman of tremendous strength, resilience and grace. Her biggest achievement was being a mother to her three lovely children: Evans Kwasi Adisi, Vera Akua Serwaa Aforo and Kevin Kwabena Aforo. She was an amazing wife to her husband David Kwadwo Aforo. She was also a grandmother to a beautiful 15-month old baby, Nya Akua Adisi. Each of her children will live on to carry out their mother’s legacy. In addition to her children, Margaret was beloved by her parents, Andrew Odoi and Juliana Odoi and siblings: Peter Odoi, Godfred Odoi, Alex Odoi and Faustina Odoi.

Margaret, oh we love and miss you tremendously. We know you are safe with our Lord and that Heaven has gained another angel!
